Role Staff President Chair Vice-Chair Trustee Vice-President President Emeritus Professor Jaydip Ray Trustee Former High Sheriff of South Yorkshire Jaydip Ray is the Clinical Director for ENT and Hearing Services at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor of Otology Neurotology at The University of Sheffield and Professor of ENT for Sheffield Hallam University. Jaydip is also the Deputy Lieutenant for South Yorkshire Lieutenancy with a broad portfolio of civic responsibilities. During a career spanning more than 20 years, Guy has developed considerable experience in all real estate transactions and has a special interest in the property aspects of insolvency and corporate transactions as well as landlord and tenant acquisitions and disposals. Guy Whitehead LinkedIn page Adrian Kirk Trustee Adrian, a Barnsley-born Royal Navy Aircraft Engineer for 29 years, became a Volunteer Mentor with Care after Combat, supporting veterans in the justice system. He later became CEO, leading the charity through growth and increased stability. After achieving significant success, Adrian stepped down to focus on new ventures, including his farmstead business and part-time PhD. He remains an Ambassador for Care after Combat and continues to fundraise actively. He is a partner at Hemingways - a specialist commercial and corporate law firm in Sheffield - with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, governance, corporate structuring, subsidy control, procurement and competition issues. Laurence was previously a partner at Irwin Mitchell. He is a former Chairman at St Luke’s Hospice, Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust and is Deputy Chairman of Sheffield City Trust. Chris sits on the Foundation’s Deakin and Withers panel and is a key member of our Financial Sustainability group. Professor Dame Hilary A Chapman DBE RN, H.M. Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire President Dame Hilary is an Honorary Professor at Sheffield Hallam University, an Honorary Doctor of Medicine at The University of Sheffield and a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing. On the NHS' 75th birthday, she was recognised as one of 75 nurses to have made a significant impact on our health system. Lady Neill DL Vice-President Anne Neill became a Vice-President of South Yorkshire's Community Foundation in 2018. She has been President of St Luke’s Hospice since 2000 and is a Trustee of several South Yorkshire charitable trusts. Anne was appointed as a Deputy-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire in 1999.
