He’s worked closely with a number of well-known organisations in the Sheffield City Region including Sheffield City Trust, Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Sheffield United FC, sharing his knowledge of a broad range of communication skills. Martin Ross LinkedIn page David Price Trustee David is the founder and former MD of leading South Yorkshire transport company - Price Express Transport Ltd. After selling the company in 2015, David wanted to find a way to help more disadvantaged people in the region and created ‘The David Price Charitable Fund’ with SYCF to support local charities getting young people into employment and projects reducing social isolation in older people. David Price LinkedIn page David Akeroyd Trustee David is Principal and Chief Executive Officer at Barnsley College and has been involved in Further Education since 2008. David previously worked in Banking and Finance and has held senior leadership roles in Liverpool and Bradford. He sits on our Grants Panel, Grants Policy Committee and Barnsley Panel. David Akeroyd LinkedIn page Melinda Schofield Trustee Melinda has over 25 experience in advertising and media and currently holds the position of Regional Sales Director at Bauer Media Yorkshire where she is skilled in negotiation, advertising/sponsorship sales, budgeting, business planning, marketing, management, and coaching. Melinda Schofield LinkedIn page Darren Littlewood Trustee Darren Littlewood is Chief Financial Officer for the Henry Boot Group of Companies. He is heavily involved in investor communications and is also responsible for communicating strategy and results to both private and institutional investors. Alongside his role at Henry Boot, Darren is also a Member of the CBI Yorkshire and Humber Regional Council. Julie Gill Trustee Julie has over 25 years of strategic and operational management experience, the last 12 of which were at board level and senior executive roles. In managing multi-million pound business projects, Julie has consistently delivered on strategic vision. Her most recent role was Executive Director of Operations at Westfield Health. Julie is currently a Trustee of Rotherham Hospice. Julie Gill LinkedIn page Professor Jaydip Ray Trustee Former High Sheriff of South Yorkshire Jaydip Ray is the Clinical Director for ENT and Hearing Services at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor of Otology Neurotology at The University of Sheffield and Professor of ENT for Sheffield Hallam University. Jaydip is also the Deputy Lieutenant for South Yorkshire Lieutenancy with a broad portfolio of civic responsibilities. During a career spanning more than 20 years, Guy has developed considerable experience in all real estate transactions and has a special interest in the property aspects of insolvency and corporate transactions as well as landlord and tenant acquisitions and disposals.
