The South Yorkshire Community Foundation specialises in the management and distribution of funds for diverse charitable activities.
We work with the Boost Initiative, endorsed by the Charity Commision, to unlock and enhance dormant, inactive and ineffective charitable trusts so that they meet real and current needs within neighbourhoods and communities in South Yorkshire.
There are many ways to unlock the true potential of trust funds that could achieve more:
- By dissolving the trust and making a donation to SYCF.
- By transferring the assets to set up a new fund with us.
- By entering into a management agreement with SYCF whereby we administer funds on behalf of the trusts.
- By appointing us as the sole trustee of your charity, maintaining the charity name and number.
Using our expertise of the local area we can offer a flexible and cost effective way of managing trusts on your behalf, removing the burden of day to day administration and maximising the impact on local communities.
