Cutlers Company Grassroots Fund
COMMUNITY and voluntary groups engaged with strengthening the traditional manufacturing and industrial traditions of the area could be eligible for a cash boost through the Cutlers Company Grassroots Fund.
The funding intends to support small, local voluntary and community groups and organisations that are:
- Active in the economic improvement of South Yorkshire through strengthening and regenerating the manufacturing industries of the area.
- This might include projects that encourage people and help equip them with skills and knowledge.
Examples of such projects include:
- Projects supporting and encouraging innovation in manufacturing, design and research.
- Projects that help disadvantaged people or those with difficult challenges to achieve.
- Projects that promote involvement in further education or training.
- Projects that raise aspirations and promote the benefit of further and higher education, research and enterprise.
NB Only applications that are directly involved in strengthening access to manufacturing and industry are likely to be successful in receiving a grant from this fund.
How to apply?
The Cutlers Company Grassroots Fund is one of the South Yorkshire Community Foundation's small grants funding pots.
To apply for a grant, go to the SYCF Small Grants Fund page and follow the instructions on How to Apply.
The normal size of a grant from this fund will be £1,500 although in certain circumstances this may be extended.
